First released in 2007, the Aprilia Shiver is designed to offer the perfect blend of performance and comfort. Although light and responsive enough to deliver an exciting ride, the Shiver is also comfortable for day-long journeys.
The Aprilia Shiver is a compact motorbike compared to models of a similar design, such as the Aprilia 850 Mana, but that does not mean it lacks power. Neatly tucked into the narrow chassis of the bike is a V-twin engine, which delivers up to 95 hp. That is more than enough to drive this lightweight bike, which weighs in at just 416 pounds.
Aprilia Shiver Motorbike Review
The Shiver is fast, nimble and fun to ride hard, but it is made for more than just racing. At the touch of a button, riders can switch from Sports mode to Touring, which mellows out the roar of the exhaust and delivers a smooth, comfortable ride. There’s also a Rain mode, which optimizes the bike’s performance on wet, slippy roads.
